MEET & GREET

New families are required to participate in a brief phone interview. If it seems that PALS would be a good fit for the student, he or she and their parents are invited to an optional Meet & Greet before registration is final. Much like an open house, this informal event is a drop-in format; it simply allows parents to see the space before they register. Meet & Greets are scheduled in the months of January, March, and May. 

Attending a Meet & Greet is not required to register. In fact, most families enroll now and opt to see the classrooms at ORIENTATION DAY in August (see below).

ORIENTATION DAY

We love welcoming students to the classroom at Orientation Day! This event is held in August, just before the first day of school. Held by appointment with a handful of other students, this experience allows children to explore the space and meet a few friends before the first day. We walk parents through arrival & dismissal procedures, share features of the classroom, and answer last-minute questions. Hosting this event provides families with the peace of mind and confidence they need to start school well. We honestly can't imagine kicking off the school year without it!
