The History of P.A.L.S.

PALS was formed in 2017 as a response to the closing of Sonrise Academy Preschool in Lebanon. It began as a musically based program at the in-home studio of Maple Avenue Music. Over 100 students were served at that location until the Lord led PALS to partner with Christ Community Church in 2025.

When a dog-puppet named Scruffy was introduced to the classroom, years ago, he added a bit of magic and mystery to our learning. He has now become our program's mascot and namesake: P.A.L.S. stands for Play And Learn with Scruffy!
