Parent Preview

New families participate in a brief phone call interview before the application link is sent. Most families register at that time and opt to view the classrooms with their child at MEET THE TEACHER DAY in August.

For parents who request a tour of the classroom before application, PARENT PREVIEW events are held. Like an open house, a Parent Preview is an informal, drop-in format to simply provide a peek at the classrooms. These events are typically held in the months of January and March and for invited adults only. Activities are not prepared for students, so children may not attend.

Please note: attending a Parent Preview is NOT required to register.

MEET THE TEACHER DAY

We love welcoming students to the classroom on Meet the Teacher Day!

This event is held in August, just before the first day of school. It's held by appointment for a handful of students, allowing children to meet a few friends before the first day. After a quick parent-child scavenger hunt, students enjoy planned activities with class assistants and their new classmates. Parents meet with the director to discuss important details like arrival & dismissal procedures, and answer all last-minute questions. Hosting this event provides families with the peace of mind and confidence they need to start school well.

We honestly can't imagine kicking off the school year without it!
