The History of P.A.L.S.
PALS formed in 2017 as a response to the closing of Sonrise Academy in Lebanon. A few years later, a dog-puppet named Scruffy was introduced to the classroom. His presence added a bit of magic and mystery to our learning, and at that time we had no idea how he would steal the show. Since then, he's become our program's mascot and namesake: Play And Learn with Scruffy!
To date, over 100 students have enrolled at PALS since our very first class. In 2025, the Lord led this program to partner with Christ Community Church in Myerstown. It's been a joy to see God grow this ministry so we can teach even more children!

My PALS Preschool is located in Christ Community Church, nestled in the heart of Myerstown. This location is ideal for many reasons, one of which is its close proximity to Elco schools. For parents who have drop off or pick up duty with older siblings, our class schedule is designed with Elco's arrival and dismissal times in mind.
